Woman's dog saves her life by constantly whining and nudging her neck; she goes to the hospital and they save her from a brain aneurysm: 'They know things we don't'

Dogs are the most incredible creatures on the planet. Sure, there are some fish that can glow in the dark, a snail that withstands volcanic temperatures, and birds that fly and swim, but dogs are the most incredible creatures because they are man's best friend. They're the pawfect companions, and some dogs will do anything to keep their pawrents alive. In fact, they've even saved lives on more than one occasion, just like this doggo did below. 

Her doggo kept climbing next to her neck and whining for hours. She went to the hospital to check it out, starting to feel some pain, and the doctors almost released her… until they did a CAT scan. What did it reveal? An unruptured brain aneurysm. Because of her doggo, they caught it in time, and she was able to make a full recovery. See? Best boy ever.

This isn't the first example of a dog saving someone they love, nor will it be the last. That's why they're the goodest boys (and girls) on the planet, and we will love them for furrever. Scroll down to watch her video and read more about the story below!

    Dogs are well attuned to their owners. They have a keen awareness of body language, as well as strong senses of smell and hearing. They are smart animals and are capable of detecting things humans cannot. Any one of these things could have tipped the dog off that something was different with their owner, no telepathy required.

  • We wonder what it must be like to be able to smell like a dog. It sounds like it would be overwhelming to us, but we imagine that if they could see the way we could, they would also be equally as overwhelmed. But to be able to smell a problem in your pawrent's brain? That's cool.

    Improper blood flow to the brain could be causing tremors or any number of other neurological symptoms the dog could detect.

  • We're not sure they could see that as they have limited visual skills compared to humans. Perhaps they can smell differences in our vascular system, but honestly, we have no idea. Your guess is as good as ours!

    iwatchppldie • 7h ago I wonder if there's some kind of signal the brain can send to say it's in distress that a dog can detect. If this is the case it might be possible to build a machine to do this. It would be cool if this could predict more than just aneurysms.

    ACcbe1986 11h ago Since they don't really understand our spoken language that well, they focus more on body language, tone, etc. and are able to notice small changes.
